Hampton-Linda LeVone Powell, 53, of the 1500 block of Briarfield Road, Hampton, died May 30, 2005 at her residence. She was a native of Norfolk. She formerly resided in Suffolk and was a graduate of John F. Kennedy High School and attended Christo-pher Newport University. She was a member of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ.

She is survived by her companion, Adrian &uot;Ed&uot; Brown of Hampton; two daughters, Paula Goode (Russell) of Greensboro and Tyrinda Carter (Troy) of Axton, Va.; two sons, Michael Powell (Nicole) of Hampton and Lonzer Ray Morris of Suffolk; her parents, Joseph Lee and Doretha Jones Holland of Suffolk; a sister, Phyllis M. Carter of Norfolk; a half-sister, Jermaine Foreman of Philadel-phia; five brothers, Joseph Randall Holland (Patricia) of Warfield, Frederick Holland of Suffolk, Reginald Holland (Diaphine) of Greensboro, George &uot;Al&uot; Holland (Tabatha) of Suffolk, and Gregory Johnson (Temika) of Florida; eight grandchildren;

other relatives and friends.

The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. today in Crocker Funeral Home, Suffolk by Bishop Madison G. Copeland. The interment will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens.

The family will be at 1708 Nansemond Pkwy., Suffolk.
