Lakeland’s Katelyn Smither and King’s Fork’s Mindy Byrd were the only Lady Suffolkians to make the All-Eastern Region softball team, it was announced Monday. Both girls made the Second team. It was Smither’s second trip to the squad, Byrd’s first.
