God has turned the sunset for Mable Edmonds into a sunrise.
She safely crossed from earth into eternity during the early afternoon of June 25, 2005.
She was the daughter of the late Gilbert and Ruth Ann Little Rolling and was born on August 12, 1930 in Greenville, N.C.
She was the wife of the late Clarence Edmonds and a member of Faith Deliverance Apostolic Church.
She loved her church family and remained faithful until her illness prevailed.
While we will greatly miss her friendly smile and &uot;wit&uot;, we bow submissively to the will of our Heavenly Father, who doeth all things well.
Mable leaves to cherish her memory:
three daughters, Juanita Hatcher (Derek) of Newport News, Evelyn Mills of Portsmouth and Leola Copeland (James) of Suffolk; god daughter, Robin Salvage; eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
The viewing will be on Friday, July 1, 2005 from noon to 8 p.m. The wake service will be from 7 to 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held Saturday, July 2, 2005 at noon at Sweet Beulah Holiness Church, 137 Maple St., Suffolk. The Interment will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Suffolk.
Professional services are entrusted to T.E. Cooke-Overton Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends at the home of her daughter at 1501 Lake Speight Drive (off Turlington Road) Suffolk and will assemble there at 11 a.m. for the procession to the church.
