Diane Holland, 14 of 304 Baker Street went home to be with the Lord Saturday, July 2, 2005. She was the daughter of Derrick Gibson and Ethel Holland both of Suffolk. She was a graduate of King’s Fork Middle School as well as a member of New Paul’s Temple Holiness Church where she was a member of the youth choir.
Diane leaves to mourn her loving mother and father, two brothers, Derrick Holland and Daniel Holland both of Suffolk. She will be missed by her grandparents, George and Doris Holland also of Suffolk; her godmothers, Pamela Skinner, Teisue Mitchell, both of Suffolk, and Gwendolyn McGill of Greensboro, N.C., one aunt, Diane Holland, and one uncle George Holland of Suffolk. She will also be missed by a host of other loving relatives and friends.
A funeral of triumph will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, July 7, 2005 at New Paul’s Temple Holiness Church, 720 Hosier Road, Suffolk. Pastor Catherine Skinner will be officiating.
The body will be placed in church on Thursday at 11:45 a.m. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 6. The family will receive friends at 304 Baker Street.
