Published 12:00 am Friday, July 15, 2005
To help those who care for Alzheimer’s patients, the Southeastern Virginia chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association operates a support group at Lake Prince Woods retirement community in Suffolk.
The group meets in the Memory Support Unit from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. the third Monday of every month.
This is the only chapter-sponsored support group in Suffolk.
Lake Prince Woods’ Memory Support offers residents personalized care in a secure environment. Its skilled staff and specialized programs cater to the unique needs of residents with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. Private rooms, engaging activities, and comfortable indoor and outdoor gathering spots provide a warm, safe environment.
Families can feel secure that their loved ones are safe and well cared for.
Sponsorship of the Alzheimer’s Support Group is just one more way Lake Prince Woods supports residents, families, and members of the Hampton Roads community.
Lake Prince Woods is located off King’s Fork Road, just one-fourth mile north of U.S. Route 460 in Suffolk.
