A Forest Glen High School graduate has opened a new heating and cooling business serving residential and light commercial customers throughout the Hampton Roads region.
Kevin Carlson recently announced the opening of Eco Mechanical LLC, located in Chesapeake and serving both Hampton Roads and Western Tidewater.
“Eco Mechanical’s focus is on doing the right thing,” Carlson said. “We focus on long-term solutions, recommending lasting equipment that is both energy efficient and good for the environment.”
In addition to heating and cooling, business services also will include restaurant refrigeration, geothermal and radiant flooring, tankless water heaters and all forms of indoor air quality solutions.
Carlson has worked in southeastern Virginia in the heating and cooling industry for nearly 20 years, and he has learned during that time that different clients have different financial needs when it comes to heating and cooling.
“When we receive a service call, we recognize that not everyone is making a long-term decision,” Carlson said. “Business and home budgets may initially require concentrating on short term, upfront costs. We look forward to working with our customers to find the best solution for their needs.”
