Eric Eugene Ralph, of 151 Lee Street, went home to be with the Lord Aug. 10, 2005. He was the son of Janice Ralph and Charles Brown, both of Suffolk. He was employed by the Ralph Tree Service.

Survivors include his parents Janice Ralph and Charles Brown, two children; Osei Boykins and Steven Johnson, both of Suffolk, one sister, Jeanette Halsey (John) of Newport News; eight brothers, Charles E. Brown, Shelton L. Ralph, Anthony Ralph, Lee Ralph, Tyrone Ralph, John Ralph, Kenneth Ralph, James Willie Brown, all of Suffolk; two aunts, Betty Perry (Clarence) and Tammy Goodman of Norfolk; three uncles, George Ralph (Ethel) of Suffolk, Michael Ralph (Helena) of Norfolk and Terry Goodman (Francine) of Norfolk and one great-aunt, Ethel Mae Wilkins of Suffolk.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Aug. 15 , 2005 at the Lakeview Missionary Baptist Church (Saratoga Section) at 635 Brook Avenue. The Rev. John E. Jones will officiate.

Visitation at the Harris Funeral home will be held from 1 to 7 p.m. Saturday and from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday. Eric will lie in state from 11:45 a.m. until service time Monday. Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at http://www.vharrisfuneralhome.com.
