CHESAPEAKE — Randy Davis Sr., 53, of the 5100 block of Old Pughsville Road, was called home to be with the Lord on Saturday, Oct. 1, 2011, at his residence. He was a retired maintenance supervisor with the Hampton Roads Sanitation District with 20 years of service. He was also a Master Carpenter, owner of a private contracting business for 30 years. Randy was a faithful member of New Hope Baptist Church and chairman of the Deacon Board.

He leaves to cherish his memory a loving and devoted wife, Patricia P. Davis; two daughters, Latabitha “Pinky” Davis and Bronte’ Davis; two sons, Randy “Bam” Davis Jr. and Justin Pierce; and his father and stepmother, Robert Davis Sr. and Corine Davis.  Also left to cherish his memory are 10 grandchildren, two sisters, four brothers, two stepsisters, two stepbrothers and a host of other relatives and friends.

Viewing will be held on Friday, Oct. 7, 2011, from 4 to 7 p.m. at J.T. Fisher Funeral Services, 1080 N. George Washington Highway, Chesapeake. A life celebration service will be held on Saturday, Oct. 8, 2011, at 1 p.m. at New Hope Baptist Church, 4260 Pughsville Road, Suffolk, with Dr. William E. Russell officiating. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens, Suffolk. The family has entrusted J.T. Fisher Funeral Services to handle the final care arrangements.
