Greater First Baptist Orlando is having its Homecoming celebration at 3 p.m. Sunday. Guest preacher is the Rev. Dr. Abraham I. Walton Sr., from Little Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Seaboard, N.C., and his congregation. The church’s annual revival services will be held nightly at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 6-9. Guest preacher for the week is the Rev. Dr. Robert E. Rodgers, pastor of Pulaski Baptist Church, Carrsville. Local church choirs will provide the music. The Rev. Dr. Henry G. Baker is senior pastor.

Suffolk Presbyterian’s schedule change

Suffolk Presbyterian Church, 410 N. Broad St., is resuming its 11 a.m. worship schedule on Sunday, when the congregation will observe the Sacrament of Holy Communion. Red Bird Mission craft fair

Oxford United Methodist Church, 601 W. Washington St., is hosting an Appalachian craft show by Red Bird Mission Crafts from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 10. Oxford clothes closet available

As part of Oxford United Methodist’s church’s mission work in the city of Suffolk, the congregation is operating a clothes closet. Operation hours are from 9 a.m. to noon every Thursday. Hours will expand as the need grows and the closet becomes mores established. Oxford is partnering with other local churches to meet the growing need in Suffolk.
