Victor Hardy

Mr. Victor Lamott Hardy, 52, of 112-A Oak Street, died Sept. 10, 2005 in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. He was a native of Suffolk. He was the son of the late Susanna Parker Hardy and Willie Hardy Jr. He was a graduate of John F. Kennedy High School. He attended Norfolk State University and was a former employee of Planter Peanut Company.
His survivors include four daughters, Victoria Council, Shameka Council, Vicki Eley and Tausha Johnson, all of Suffolk; two sons, Victor Council of Suffolk and Nicko Bazemore of Jarrett; one sister, Rita Catheia Hardy of Suffolk; a foster sister, Catherine Sawyer of Suffolk; three aunts, Hattie Boone, Mary Ann Carson and Ruby Moore; a devoted friend, Jacqueline Council; a sister-in-law, Delorie Hardy, 12 grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by a son, Victor Bazemore, and a brother, Willie Hardy.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday Sept. 15, 2005 at St. Paul RZUA Church by Dr. Edward Foreman. Interment will be in Carver Memorial Cemetery. Crocker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
