Carrie Powell Smith of Sunbury, N.C. died Oct. 7, 2005. Funeral services will be conducted at noon Oct. 11 at St. John AME Zion Church in Sunbury by the Rev. Samuel Boone. Stallings Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
