Louise E. Hines, 74, of 219 Prospect Road, Apt. 304, Suffolk, Va., died Sunday, Sept. 11, 2011, at Sentara Obici Hospital. She was a native of Alliquippi, Pa., and the daughter of the late David Daughtrey and Beatrice B. Daughtrey.

She was raised in Carrsville, Va. Louise retired as a nurse. She was a member of Pulaski Baptist Church, where she was in the Senior Choir.

She leaves to cherish her memory: one daughter, Denise James, of California; a devoted brother, Joseph Daughtrey, of Suffolk; several grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; cousins, other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, Sept. 16, 2011, at Pulaski Baptist Church, Carrsville, Va., officiated by Dr. Robert E. Rodgers.
