Olivia A. Blackley of the 200 block of Woodrow Avenue, Suffolk, died Jan. 28, 2006 in Obici Memorial Hospital. A native of Nansemond County (Suffolk), she was the daughter of the late James and Helen Riddick Allen and the widow of Alvah Blackley, Sr. She was retired from Parker Peanut Company and was a member of St. Paul R.Z.U.A. Church.

She is survived by one son, Alvah Blackley, Jr. (Renee) of Suffolk; one aunt, Doris Riddick of Suffolk; four grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and a host of cousins and friends.

The funeral service will be held Friday, Feb. 3, 2006 at 2 p.m. in Saint Paul R.Z.U.A. Church by Dr. Edward Foreman. Interment will be in Carver Memorial Cemetery.
