Shemekia S. Brown and Michael S. Hill Sr., both of Suffolk, announce their upcoming wedding.

The bride is the daughter of Iris Mae Fordham and Robert McCoy Brown Sr., of Suffolk. The groom is the son of Ruth E. Hill, of Suffolk, and the late Lloyd Hill III.

The wedding will take place at Rising St. James PHC at 2 p.m. Oct. 15. Bishop Dwight Whitfield will officiate.
