Route 58 wreck cleared

Suffolk police conduct an accident investigation at the scene of a four-vehicle crash at the intersection of the Route 58 Bypass and Holland Road on Monday afternoon.

U.S. Route 58 west was closed for part of Monday at the foot of the bypass in the 1500 block of Holland Road because of a four-vehicle accident. One vehicle involved was a tractor-trailer.

The accident was reported shortly after noon. Emergency responders anticipate the road being closed for some time.
