NBA and WNBA stars coming to Suffolk Parks Rec hoops camp

The Junior NBA, Junior WNBA and Suffolk Parks and Recreation are hosting a summer basketball camp that reinforces sportsmanship, teamwork, attitude, and respect.
The camp, for ages 9-13, will be held at King’s Fork High School on Tuesday, July 18 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
There will be appearances by NBA legend Dominique Wilkins and WNBA legend and four-time Olympic gold medalist, Teresa Edwards.
The schedule will include basketball fundamentals, four-on-four basketball, personal development, nutrition, exercise, and weight training.
A parents’ seminar will end the day’s activities.
There will be giveaways and special appearances by the NBA and WNBA.
King’s Fork High School is located at 351 King’s Fork Road.
Participation is free but space is limited!
Pre-registration is required.
Those who are interested can register at the Suffolk Parks and Recreation office or at any recreation center.
