Let us all stop and reflect on how 9-11 became our generation’s &uot;Pearl Harbor.&uot;

As Bill Clinton travels throughout the world, denigrating the current Commander-in-Chief in the midst of a war, the mainstream media feels it’s not that important that during the Bush Administration there has been only one terrorist attack against the U.S. and its interests in over five years.

Let us count the attacks during the reign of Bill Clinton and his administration. He and the Democratic moonbats need to be given credit where credit is due. They do talk a great war on terrorism. The problem is, they won’t tell you what their plan is until after, and if, they are elected.

Let’s take a look back and today that is their theme. They want to take you back to days of the 1960s and 1970s. Those years were full of dissent over Vietnam, racism and race riots, and the LBJ plan called the ‘Great Society.’ The Third World War began with the incompetent Jimmy Carter and the Iranian hostages that lasted 444 days.

1993, Clinton failed to prevent the bombing of the World Trade Center, a successful attack where six were killed and over 100 wounded. He never even visited the bomb site. After a few arrests, trials and convictions, he refused to follow up and go after Al-Qaeda.

Somalia — you remember &uot;Black Hawk Down,&uot; where Al-Qaeda took advantage of a force that Clinton failed to arm. In his eyes, he didn’t want to provoke the Al-Qaeda-backed war lords because the military was sent there to pass out U.S. aid in the way of food and medicine.

Our troops were not armed with tanks or Bradley armored vehicles, nor any high-tech weapons — only with Hummers, rifles, grenades and launchers and other small arms and conventional weapons. He ordered a retreat.

Saudi Arabia — the Kobar Towers in 1997, where terrorist were successful in killing 19 and wounding hundreds of American military and civilians. There was no followup by the Clinton Administration. He promised the families of the victims and the American people that the terrorists would be brought to justice; he failed to personally ask Saudi Crown Prince Abdullah to allow the FBI to investigate and question some of the terrorist the kingdom had in custody. But he did hit the Saudis’ for a contribution to the Clinton Presidential Library and he got it. What did the families, victims and America get? Nothing but a broken promise.

1998 the bombing of our embassies in Africa killed hundreds, including our own military and citizens. He ordered missile strikes against an aspirin factory. Many say this was done as to direct attention away from his &uot;headache&uot; he had with and over Monica.

In 1999, 17 sailors died and scores were wounded when terrorists attacked the U.S.S. Cole. Again. he took no action.

Clinton would lead you to believe that he and his administration stopped the attack at the Los Angeles Airport.

That was achieved by an alert female U.S. Customs agent who

investigated a suspicious-looking character coming across the U.S. and Canadian border.

This history proves that racial profiling does work when used in combating terrorist and terrorism.

On this fifth anniversary of 9-11 take time to remember the 2,996 Americans who died that day. Remember their lives, their families and that they died on our soil.

It is our generation’s Pearl Harbor.
