Suffolk police are looking for two men who robbed another man at gunpoint on Thursday night, taking his wallet, his cash and his dinner before fleeing.
The victim was waiting in his car at about 10:15 p.m. for his wife, who was inside the Happy Shopper on E. Washington Street, when he was approached by two black males, one of whom was armed with a shotgun, according to police reports.
The subjects forced the man from his vehicle and demanded that he give them his money, Suffolk spokesperson Debbie George said in a press release on Friday. The victim gave them his wallet and cash, and then one of the subjects noticed a bag of food from a nearby restaurant in the victim’s vehicle. They took the bag of food and fled the scene, George stated.
The suspects are described as black males. One was described as being 6’, 162-165 pounds, with brown skin and dreadlocks. He was wearing a black shirt and jeans. The second was described as being about 5’11”, 175 pounds, with light brown skin. He was wearing a white T-shirt and beige pants.
