Crossroads Coffeehouse meets Dec. 30 from 7-10 p.m. at Cotton Blossom Caf\u00E9, 510 E. Pinner St. Dec. 30 is youth night, with music by 4th Day Band. For information about youth night, call 539-5027.

The quarterly session of the Nansemond-Isle of Wight Sunday School Union will be held Dec. 30 at Metropolitan Baptist Church, 125 County St. in Suffolk. Youth choir rehearsal begins at 10 a.m. and business session begins at 11 a.m. Members of the union will join the host church for Sunday school and worship the next day. The Executive Board of the Union will meet at 10 a.m. prior to the full business session. All missionaries are asked to arrive at 9:30 a.m. for a brief meeting.

Pleasant Union Baptist Church will observe New Year’s Eve service Dec. 31 at 10 p.m. Kwanzaa will be observed. A New Year breakfast will be served.
