Suffolk police are seeking a man wanted in connection with two abductions involving his former girlfriend.
Naquane Allen, 21, is wanted on a variety of charges connected to the incidents, city spokeswoman Debbie George said.
The first alleged abduction occurred June 23, when police say Allen pulled his ex-girlfriend out of a vehicle, forced her into a house and refused to allow her to leave. She fled the house, and he picked her up again on Blythewood Lane. She attempted to get out of the vehicle several times before finally escaping in the 200 block of East Washington Street.
The second incident allegedly happened on Wednesday. Police say Allen attacked and abducted the same woman while she was parked in a vehicle at the Wilson Pines apartment complex. He then allegedly drove the victim away from the scene in her vehicle.
Officers found the man about an hour later at the Green Pines Motel. They ordered him out of the vehicle, but he allegedly refused to exit and instead drove directly toward the officers before speeding away, George said.
Allen is charged with two counts of abduction, two counts of assault and battery and one count each of grand larceny, obstruction of justice, reckless driving and driving while suspended.
He is known to frequent Wilson Pines and Cypress Manor/Parker-Riddick apartments.
