A man wanted by Suffolk Police for three cases of felony child abuse turned himself in to police today.

John Anthony Holmes, 38, was wanted for physically abusing a seven-year-old child, according to a city press release. Police are able to release little information on the case at this time, due to an ongoing, active investigation, Suffolk spokeswoman Debbie George said in the release on Tuesday.

Holmes’ last known address was in the 200 block of Wexford Drive. He is a black, male, approximately 5’7” and 165 pounds.
