Sporting a fresh dose of momentum after a pair of big victories last weekend, Adam Florian will look to keep his roll going this Saturday when Arena Racing USA’s Hampton Roads series swings back into action at the Hampton Coliseum.

Saturday’s lineup includes A, B and C Mains — 50 laps apiece. The top six finishers from the A Main and the top four finishers from the B and C Mains advance to the 50-lap Top Dog race, the evening’s grand finale.

Doors open at 6 p.m. and racing starts at 7. Drivers will be available to meet and greet fans before and after the program.

“Race Fan Bailout” prices are in effect for Saturday’s program. All tickets are just $5, plus applicable fees. Kids under 3 are admitted free when accompanied by an adult. This will be the final “Bailout” night of the 2008-09 season. After all, unlike the federal government, Arena Racing promoter Blake Murphy doesn’t print his own currency!

In the current series standings, Florian holds a 19-point advantage over Derek Miller, 329-310. Jordan Wood ranks third with 299, followed by Patrick Morgan with 296. Charlie Green and defending champ Scott Prillaman are deadlocked at 295 for the fifth spot. Spencer Saunders (287), Robbie Davis (278), Greg Pass (270) and Craig Carlton (260) round out the top 10.

The Hampton Roads series is idle next weekend and gets back down to business on Saturday, Feb. 21, at the Hampton Coliseum.
