Join Suffolk Parks and Recreation for some fun-filled activities during Spring Break Away Camp. This year’s program will be held April 13-17 at Creekside Recreation Center, 1000 Bennett’s Creek Park Road; and Mack Benn, Jr., 1253 Nansemond Parkway. This camp is geared for ages 5-12.

The cost is $40 per child, excluding the price of field trips. Program hours will be 7:30 a.m.–6 p.m. Registration will be held March 9 to April 3 from 3-6 p.m. at Creekside and Mack Benn Jr. Recreation Centers. You may also register at the Parks and Recreation administrative office, 110 W. Finney Ave.

Registration for Spring Break is on a first-come, first-served basis; only payment reserves space. Registration requirements include: proof of age, two emergency contacts and proof of residency (city employees who are non-residents may register their children for the program with city-issued identification). Five-year olds must have proof that they attended kindergarten during the 2008-09 school year.
