GM’s CEO had a choice

I totally disagree with your April 1 editorial (“Yes, we can, but should we?”). You state that President Obama forced the CEO of General Motors to resign. That is not true.

The CEO had a choice. He could have refused the bailout. Then, if General Motors went bankrupt, a bankruptcy judge could then remove him from the position. Or if he produced a miracle and brought the company back on top, he would be a hero.

He had a choice.
