Hampton Roads is fortunate for numerous reasons, but one specific reason is the proximity from any Hampton Roads city to one of the finest minor league baseball parks in the country – Harbor Park, home of the Norfolk Tides.
The Park is unique in a number of different ways and has no “bad seats.” And unlike recent years, the Tides are posting a winning record so far this season, ensuring quality baseball consistently throughout the summer.
In recognition of the fun and good times that can be taken advantage of at the Park, the Suffolk News-Herald is kicking off a contest where we will give away five tickets daily to the remaining home Tide games.
The rules are simple for the game. In order to participate you must first read the trivia question found on the upper left hand corner of the daily sports page. Answer the question and submit your answer either via e-mail or by bringing your answer and contact information to the front office at the News-Herald at 130 S. Saratoga St. No phone calls please.
The staff will compile the winning answers and randomly select one winner daily. The winner will receive a phone call and be asked to come to the newspaper office to pick their winning tickets and also pose for a picture with one of our employees. This is our way of saying thank you to our readers for supporting us. So if you are looking for fun for free, then start paying attention to our sports pages and play Trivia for Tides tickets.
