A group of former and current Lipton employees gathered on Sept. 14, 2024, for the first reunion in the company’s 69-year history. The event was the realization of a dream by the late Loraine Peele, a retired Lipton employee who wanted to unite all the company’s past and present employees.
The reunion included a tribute to deceased employees, dinner, dancing, door prizes and special recognitions.Titania Peele-Darden gave remarks on behalf of her mother. Several retired Lipton leaders, including supervisors Kenny Ward, Mary Ford and Randy Wade, also attended.
Attendees concluded the celebration by singing “We Are Family.” The reunion’s motto was “Making It Happen.”

* Deloise Pope
* Lora Hunter
* Barbara Harris
* Juanita Parker-Hart
* Carla Williams
* Freddie Gardner
