Valerie Scott Wilson, 62, of 7413 Orcutt Ave., Newport News, Va., died Saturday, June 11, 2011, at her residence.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, June 17, 2011, in the chapel of Crocker Funeral Home. Interment will be in Boone Family Cemetery, Gates, N.C. The family will assemble at the funeral home at 12:30 p.m. Friday. Condolences may be extended to the family at www.crockerfuneralhome.com.
