Update – Suffolk Police advise that the deceased adult male has
been identified as Frenando Kapri Holland, age 30, of Suffolk. The adult female is currently
considered to be in critical but stable condition at a local hospital.

SUFFOLK, VA (October 21, 2024) On Monday, October 21, 2024, at approximately 6:19am, Suffolk Police responded to the 300 block of Linden Ave for reports of gunshots in the area. Officers arrived on scene and located an adult male, deceased, as well as an adult female who had been shot and was critically injured. Suffolk Fire & Rescue responded and transported the injured woman to a local hospital for treatment. The incident appears to be domestic in nature, and Suffolk Police are not currently searching for a suspect. There is no ongoing threat to the community.
