Saturday morning was a ‘shell’-ebration as Suffolk held the 2024 Peanut Fest Parade on Saturday, Oct. 5 on Main St. Residents came down to Downtown to enjoy the festivities where plenty of cool cars, carts and motorcycles drove by for happy attendees. The parade also saw Lakeland, Kings Fork and Nansemond River High School Marching Bands bring music and performances to residents as well as a grand entrance from 2024 Peanut Fest Queen and her court.
