Suffolk Police Department has identified the deceased individual discovered in the 400 block of Railroad Ave on Wednesday, Sept. 18 as 64-year-old Timothy Jerome Everett of Suffolk.

SPD says that the cause and manner of his death is still under investigation and is asking anyone who has had recent contact with Mr. Everett to contact SPD with that information.

This follows SPD’s announcement that on Wednesday, Sept. 18 at approximately 4:25 p.m., they responded to the 400 block of Railroad Ave for reports of a deceased body found.

Upon their arrival, officers discovered the body of an adult male. SPD says that at this time, the cause of death is undetermined and that the investigation is ongoing.
