Suffolk Police request public assistance in aggravated assault investigation

SUFFOLK, VA – On Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at approximately 9:50 p.m., Suffolk Police responded to the 130 block of Lee Street for a medic assist call.
Upon arrival, officers found an adult female with stab wounds to the neck. The female was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Michael Steven Catron, age 44, of Suffolk is wanted in connection with this incident. Catron is facing charges of Aggravated Malicious Wounding (F), Abduction and Kidnapping (F), Concealing/Destroying Evidence of a Felony (F), and Assault and Battery (M).
