Second man wanted in connection with May murder in custody

According to a press release from the Suffolk Police Department, on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, SPD, with the assistance of the Portsmouth Police Department, arrested Khalil McGlone, 27, of Suffolk. McGlone was wanted in connection to a homicide investigation that took place on Thursday, May 9, 2024, in the 1300 Block of Blythewood Lane, which claimed the life of 26-year-old Darrell Lamont Knight Jr., of Suffolk.
McGlone was one of two men wanted in connection with the homicide. The other, Amir Rassein Knight, 24, of Suffolk, turned himself into authorities on June 4.
McGlone has been charged with Attempted Malicious Wounding and Use of a Firearm in Commission of a Felony in connection with this incident.
