Suffolk Public Libraries is inviting residents to celebrate Juneteenth with a special jamboree.

The SPL Juneteenth Jamboree will be hosted at 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 18 at the Morgan Memorial Library, located at 443 W. Washington St. Along with food, workshops and performances from local talent, the event will also have open mic for poets and singers with Spoken Word Artist Marquice Williams as well as West African Dance principles from Dancer MiKeshia Williams.
