Daniel Parker Bunch, a native of Nansemond County, VA and a longtime resident of Boulder City, Nevada, died April 25, 2024. Dan was born to Clarence and Louise Bunch on the family farm January 10, 1939. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Richard and James Bunch. He is survived by his sisters Eloise B. Byrd of Burlington, NC; Edna Earl B. Carter of Suffolk, VA; and brother Fred (Beverly) Bunch of Nashville, TN, as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Dan graduated from Whaleyville High School and Virginia Polytechnic Institute and served a 3-year tour of duty at Nellis AFB. Dan moved to Boulder City in 1970 and worked at the Bureau of Reclamation and the Western Area Power Administration until retiring in 1991. An avid collector of local Desert Sands Pottery and antiques, Dan served as Director of both the Boulder City Museum & Historical Association and Senior Center of Boulder City. He was beloved by his family and friends and was an active member of Bethany Baptist Church, Boulder City: he often blessed others with his wise advice and the love of Jesus Christ.
