A Suffolk Circuit Court Grand Jury indicted a man on multiple sex crimes against a minor child on Monday, Jan. 22, 2024.

According to court documents, between July 1, 2020, and Aug. 21, 2021, Andrew Ostrander is alleged to have committed sexual abuse on a minor under the age of 13 and has been charged with 12 counts each of aggravated sexual battery – victim under 13, sexual penetration with an object – victim under 13 and sodomy – forcible – victim under 13.

The indictment also includes 12 counts of child cruelty and indecent liberties – custodial relationship between the dates of Nov. 1, 2020, and Dec. 31, 2022.

According to Western Tidewater Jail records, Ostrander was booked on Oct. 3, 2023, where he awaits his arraignment on March 15, 2024.
