According to a media release, Suffolk Police are investigating an overnight shooting on Church St.
According to the release, on Nov. 10, 2023, at approximately 1:45 a.m., the Suffolk 911 Center received a call reporting an adult female shot in the 100 block of Church Street.
“Upon arrival, Officers located the female, a Suffolk resident, suffering from a serious gunshot wound,” the release said. “The victim was taken by ground transport to a local hospital for treatment and is currently in stable condition. There is no additional information available for release at this time.”
