Police investigate late-night robbery at Suffolk convenience store

The Suffolk Police Department is investigating a commercial robbery at a convenience store located in the 1900 block of Holland Road on Nov. 2, 2023, at approximately 1:45 a.m., according to a media release from the city.
A preliminary investigation says an unidentified male suspect forcibly entered the store and demanded various items, including cash, from a store employee.
The suspect is described as a black male wearing a blue vest, a baseball hat, and dark pants. Following the robbery, the suspect left the scene in a vehicle that was last seen heading east on Holland Road.
The investigation into this incident remains ongoing, and no additional details are available for release at this time. Anyone with information related to this robbery to come forward and assist in the investigation.
