The rain may have dampened the field but would not dampen the will of the King’s Fork Bulldogs. Powered by three rushing touchdowns by junior running back Javon Ford, the King’s Fork Bulldogs (8-0) knocked off perennial powerhouse Oscar Smith (5-3) 21-19 Friday. Ford racked up 240 yards rushing to go along with his three scores.

With less than a minute remaining and facing a 4th and 10, Bulldog senior Kaevon Blanding came in clutch, sealing the victory with an interception.

King’s Fork heads to Chesapeake to take on Deep Creek, and Oscar Smith is on the road to take on Hickory.
