A Suffolk man was sentenced to multiple life sentences Friday for the Dec. 14, 2021, shooting death of Tre’von Antonyo Lewis, 22, of Suffolk. 

Suffolk Circuit Court Judge Matthew A. Glassman handed down two life sentences to be served concurrent to Isaiah Robert Moorman, 24, of Suffolk, who was convicted of aggravated murder and first-degree murder in June.

Moorman was convicted of four additional felonies related to the 2021 shooting; robbery causing death, maliciously discharging a firearm in an occupied dwelling, using a firearm in the commission of murder, and using a firearm in the commission of robbery. 

According to court documents, Moorman was also sentenced to 50 years – suspended – on the robbery conviction, 10 years suspended on the conviction for malice shooting in an occupied building, five years for use of a firearm in a felony first offense, and three years for use of a felony in a felony first offense. robbery causing death, maliciously discharging a firearm in an occupied dwelling, using a firearm in the commission of murder, and using a firearm in the commission of robbery. 

Moorman was convicted by a Suffolk Circuit Court jury on six felony charges in connection with the Dec. 14, 2021, shooting death of Tre’von Antonyo Lewis, 22, of Suffolk.

The shooting occurred in the 200 block of Burnetts Way at approximately 7:50 p.m., Dec. 14, 2021. Lewis was pronounced dead at the scene.
