Bessie Mae Kee, 85, peacefully transitioned Thursday, Aug. 31, 2023. 

A funeral service takes place at noon Friday, Sept. 8, at Rising St. James Pentecostal Holiness Church and she is being laid to rest at Carver Memorial Cemetery. Services are entrusted to T.E. Cooke-Overton Funeral Home Inc.
