Chesapeake Police seek public help in locating runaway child, believed to be headed toward Norfolk

CHESAPEAKE, VA – Chesapeake Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a 12-year-old female runaway.
A media release from the 12-year-old Aubree Weinschel was last seen Monday near the 100 block of Commonwealth Ave. in Chesapeake at around 8:27 p.m., Aubree may be traveling on foot toward Norfolk.
Aubree is a white female, approximately 5’2″ and 150 pounds with hazel eyes and blonde hair. She was last seen wearing a blue shirt, unknown color sweatpants, blue Crocs shoes, and a necklace with her name on it. Aubree has high-functioning autism and requires medication.
