The first votes have come in from the 2023 Democratic Primary battle for the Virginia House of Delegates District 84 seat, and they favor Nadarius Clark significantly.

With 21 of 22 precincts reporting in the city of Suffolk, Clark has received 85.40% of the vote, leading 2,409 to 412 over Michele Joyce.

With three of eight precincts reporting in Isle of Wight County, he leads 94-26.

With one of two precincts reporting in the city of Chesapeake, he leads 11-0.

The city of Franklin, with its seven precincts, has yet to report votes.
