The first results have begun to trickle in from Suffolk in connection with the 2023 Republican Primary that will determine the party’s candidate for the Virginia House of Delegates District 84 seat.

The Virginia Department of Elections website notes that 17 of the 22 precincts from Suffolk have reported, and Mike Dillender is leading Rod Thompson 1,866-884. This translates to 67.85% of the vote presently going to Dillender.

Yet to report are eight precincts in Isle of Wight County, seven precincts in the city of Franklin and two precincts in the city of Chesapeake.
