Vortex Express Carwash hosts a grand opening celebration at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 24.

In honor of the grand opening, Vortex Express Carwash, located at 150 Jonathans Way, is offering promotional membership passes for just $1 for the first month. 

Suffolk Mayor Michael Duman will be on hand for the event. 

Vortex Express Carwash is a family-owned, veteran-owned small business opening its first location in Suffolk. They operate on a new-to-the-industry conveyor belt system that allows the customer to drive their vehicle on to the belt, removing the intimidation of fitting between a track and rail. The belt pulls the vehicle through a massive 135-foot tunnel enhanced with fun LED lighting.  

Vortex offers a Ceramic X3 Shine Coat that helps repel dust and grime and protects vehicle paint from oxidation and UV rays. The wash tunnel includes buff-and-shine brushes and a lint-free cloth buff that will make any vehicle shine.
