Suffolk Parks and Recreation is hosting the How the Grinch Stole East Suffolk event at East Suffolk Recreation Center from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 16.

The festivities for the evening include arts and crafts, hot cocoa bar, gingerbread house competition and a photo opportunity with the Grinch.

Families are encouraged to participate in the event by donating a new, unwrapped toy that will be donated to a local charity.
