Police report carjacking in North Suffolk

A reported carjacking took place Monday afternoon on Shoulders Hill Road near Bridge Road, according to Suffolk Police.
Police said a woman was in a 2015 red Hyundai Tuscon in the 5600 block of Shoulders Hill Road around 4:30 p.m. when a man approached and demanded that she give him the car. Fearing for her safety, she gave him the car, police said.
The man left the scene in an unknown direction, according to police. The Tuscon has Virginia registration KER-5712.
Police continue to investigate the incident.
