Three adults and several animals were displaced when a mobile home was heavily damaged by a fire Sunday morning in Magnolia Lake Mobile Home Park on Nansemond Parkway. No one was injured.

The first unit arrived at 1:33 a.m. and found heavy fire and smoke showing from the singlewide home. The fire was under control at 1:58 a.m.

The American Red Cross is assisting the displaced occupants. The Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause and origin of the fire.
