The Nansemond-Suffolk Academy golf team finished the regular season ranked No. 1 in the Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association Division II and will play in the state championship at Meadowbrook golf club in Richmond on Monday.

Team members are seniors Brady King, Clifton Harrell and Andrew Chen and juniors Faith Garcia, Hope Garcia, Summer Johnston, Adam McAninley and Brian Ross.

The team is coached by Tommy Harry.
