Parker named to President’s List
Madison Parker, a junior early childhood education major from Suffolk, was among approximately 660 Bob Jones University students named to the Fall 2021 President’s List.
The President’s List recognizes students who earn a 3.75 or higher grade point average for the semester.
Eley receives master’s degree
Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine (Geisinger Commonwealth) conferred a master of biomedical sciences degree upon IeTausjua Eley, of Suffolk, and other students who comprised the school’s second cohort of the MBS Class of 2021. Commencement ceremonies were held virtually on Dec. 18.
UMGC students named to Dean’s List
The following Suffolk students were named to the Dean’s List for the fall term at University of Maryland Global Campus. To be eligible for the honor, a student must complete at least six credits during the term, earn a grade point average of at least 3.5 for the term, and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.5 at UMGC.

Alspaugh named to Dean’s List
Madelyn Alspaugh, of Suffolk, excelled during the Fall 2021 semester, achieving a GPA of at least 3.5 to earn a spot on the Dean’s List.
Matalevich makes Dean’s List at RIT
Tyler Matalevich of Suffolk was named to the Dean’s List at Rochester Institute of Technology for the fall semester. Matalevich is in the mechanical engineering program.
Full-time degree-seeking undergraduate students are eligible for Dean’s List if their term GPA is greater than or equal to 3.4; they do not have any grades of “Incomplete,” “D” or “F”; and they have registered for, and completed, at least 12 credit hours.
