The anticipated winter weather has caused the following closures and cancellations for Saturday:

• City of Suffolk facilities will remain closed on Jan. 22 due to the impact of winter weather, according to a city press release. City facilities are set to close at noon Friday.
• Suffolk Transit will continue to operate on Saturday; however, operations could change based on the safety of road conditions.
• A decision on the operation of the Suffolk Airport, Suffolk Visitor Center, Suffolk Seaboard Station Railroad Museum, and Suffolk Art Gallery for Sunday will be made on Saturday.
• Staff continue to encourage motorists to avoid driving as much as possible and limit travel to necessary trips.
